I am, like many of my age group (and many above and below it), a victim of consumption. Cramming my face in alloted lunch hours, or snacking hordes of sugary goodness before the next class. Returning home from a long day at work with a stomach that feels as if it's suffered years of starvation. The same thing happens, every day.
People would like to eat good food and most certainly enjoy it, but cannot. The children of today are slowly becoming desensitized to the ritual of eating and are more and more accustomed to the daily ritual of cramming. Food has ceased to be a pleasure and is a chore. This certainly hasn't been a recent occurrence. Food has been left to fester into mammoth-sized portioned, small-window-of-time-to-eat-it-in monsters long before I was even born.
This blog is simply to document my daily food habits, musings, and whims about food.
Much love kiddies,
xoxo
